CHRIS MEARS and TOM DALEY

Spot the difference

Olympic diving Champion CHRIS MEARS was born on 7th February 1993 in Reading, Berkshire

Olympic Diving Medallist TOM DALEY was born on 21st May 1994 in Plymouth, Devon

There is 1 year 3 months and 15 days (or 15 months and 15 days) difference in age between them. They apparently look very similar in many photographs.

They could be children born to the same Mother, but with the same or different fathers, making them look very very similar.

Both READING and PLYMOUTH are situated in the Southern part of England. TOM DALEY's accent may or may not be a local Devonshire or Plymouth accent, being so close to Cornwall where the accent is thicker and more rural.

When I watched CHRIS MEARS perform with JACK LAUGHER in the Springboard Final Diving competition, I thought I was looking at TOM DALEY.

PLYMOUTH is a Naval base and READING is not too far from ALDERSHOT, home to the British Parachute Regiment. So if TOM and CHRIS are in fact brothers there may be a military/naval connection going on.
