FURIOUS

The word FURIOUS may refer to the FURIES aka ERINYES. It refers to Greek mythology and maybe Roman too. These are some sort of avenging angels, or female beings who exact revenge on behalf of those who have aired their grievances to the Furies.

The word FURIOUS can be seen in the film title: THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS'

There was also a boxer called TYSON FURY who caused controversy by winning a title bout and bragging about how he could easily beat his next opponent.

The word FURY or FURIOUS has been gathering pace in the mainstream media and I have to wonder WHY?

It is important for one to understand the classics and Greek and Roman Mythology because the mainstream media loves its pagan roots.

So news stories abound with this or that person being FURIOUS about something relating to Politics, TV, Sport or anything else.

THE FURIES (111 Std) should probably not be confused with the FAERIES (FAE).
